Something seems strange here:

On p. 89 in the introduction to weapon skills it says: "Some of the following skills are knightly, while the rest are Non-Knightly."

Of the skills listed, only Battle, Horsemanship, and Sword are marked as Knightly, making eg. Spear and Lance by implication Non-Knightly?!

Presumably the quoted sentence is in error, and not all weapon skills not marked as Knightly are Non-Knightly? If so, then what are the Non-Knightly weapon skills? Bow and Crossbow, presumably -- anything else?

Errata alert!

Lance ought to also be listed as Knightly

Why would those "by implication" be non-knightly?
See definitions page 80-81
Knightly: required
non-knightly: forbidden
Others: the rest

There are none.
Knights are fighting men and can use anything they want.
Bows are out, though, since you cannot really use it with armor. But if you want to go hunting deer with your bow and arrow, go ahead!
The classification of missile weapons as being "non-knightly" comes later on, especially when chivalry requires mano a mano confrontations to be a "real knight."

Thanks for the clarification!
