I remember buying this book in the late eighties as a result of Sabbat's Dreamweaver album. Hey I was a teenager.
However, the book made a big impression and is one of my favourites. Its a psychological journey into the mind of an Anglo Saxon sorceror in the late dark ages. It tells the story of a monk sent to gather information into anglo saxon lands in anticipation of conversion of the king. It is apparently based on an old manuscript found in the British Library detailing customs, rituals and shamanic practices of the anglo saxons.

Since starting Pendragon again, I've started to think about this book and trying to see if I can include some elements into making a good anglo saxon adversary. Not someone to kill out right, but someone to negotiate with.
Anyway, just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this and see if anyone else has any comments about it.
Cheers
Damon
