Hello there!

One of my players have developed a colourful map of Malahaut.
I find it wonderful, so I thought to ask you if may I upload it here, or better where can I upload it.

Waiting for a response

If it's under 256KB, you can attach it to a post. Failing that, I'm sure someone with a pendragon website would be happy to host it.

Any volunteers?

And also to the KAP Wiki!

why don't you use Dropbox : post it in your "Public" folder, and send us your link ^_^

If you can't or won't, send the file to my email address, and I'll post for you...

Even better idea: post it to a photo-sharing site like Photobucket, then click the Insert Image button and enter the direct link to the image so it will display here. Anyone who wants to save it can right-click the image and do a Save As.

As soon as I'll have the final version of the map... I'll post it here, as Undead Trout suggested.

Thanks

Hello everyone,
here are the maps.
First I want to write my thanks to my player and friend Filippo, who made them, starting from the little infos I was able to give him.

Feel free to use them, put them on your sites, but please mention Filippo as his maker.

Nice maps. I have only a couple of quibbles:

1 - they quote the actual county names (Derbyshire, Lincolnshire etc) when indicating bordering lands rather than the GPC names (Bedegraine etc)

2 - they give the impression that the pennine uplands don't continue south of Ribblesdale. This is a defensible choice since the hills in question lie outside of your focus on Malahaut, but still...

Regards
Luke

Luke, you are actually right.
The Pennines has been reduced, only because the map is focused on Malahaut.
It was started from scratch, so Filippo's started from the infos I was able to give him. That's way it refers more to the modern day names than to the GPC names.

Thanks for the feedback.

These are extremely handsome, please pass my compliments to the artist.

What is Goolf?
From whence its origins?

Goolf?

Sorry... it was Goole, a small city reported on an old map of the area we found while researching for every scrap of knowledge we could muster.

I'll pass your compliments to Filippo, plus the request to correct that.

Could someone tell me with accuracy the GPC names which should substitute Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, etc. ?

Thanks a lot!

P.S.
To whom I have to speak to give permissions to put these maps into the Wikipedius?

The most up to date material is always found at http://gspendragon.com/
more specifically

or just start at

Derbyshire = Bedegraine (sort of)
Lincolnshire = Lindsey (sort of)

On the official KAP Wikipedia, you mean?
Please look at the site and contact Russell

Shouldn't Maris be represented on any map of Malahaut as well? Tadcaster is not in Roestoc or Malahaut, according to GPC and earlier sources.

Hello everyone,

I asked Filippo, which thanks Greg for the support, to make some changes and corrections.

I have so removed the old images and put the new on.

Filippo has made also this map, which is important for our games purposes, since it explores the area around Norton.

Not to nit pick too much on the great resource you have create. But, you are showing the Dutch River for the river Don. The course of the River Don was changed in 1620 for flow to the River Humber at Goole. Prior to this it flow in to the River Trent.

Doncaster or Donne Ceaster (Ole English) or Danum (Roman) was a port in the 12th Century.

This is the area that I grew in so I alot of the local History
