Hello all, BibboTheFirst here. I'd first would like to say I'm new to tabletop gaming and very new to Pendragon. Before GM'ing Pendragon I played 4 sessions, not games but sessionsof D&D. So as one might deduce, I'm not very experienced in GM'ing. Secondly, I (and my friends that I play with) am really enjoying Pendragon and it's creative and mystic world. Thirdly, I have a few questions about combat.

??? First question, how do I decide who goes first? The book states that whoever has the highest movement goes first, however everyone is tied for movement speed in my party and their glory amounts are equal. Who goes first?

??? Second question, I know that when one is attacking one checks one's weapon skill against the defender's weapon skill. I assume that the winner of the roll then rolls d6's for damage. My question is involving a situation I found myself in. The party was battling against a Wyrm. This Wyrm was very powerful and I'm thinking (now that I writing the question in words) that my issue arises because I didn't want the whole party to die. Does the Wyrm deal 7d6 damage every time one of my PCs flubs a [Weapon] roll when being contested against the Wyrm's [Bite] roll?

??? Lastly, I do have one question about buying books for KAP. I've seen people talking about the Book of Knights and Ladies and other "non-necessary" materials and I was wondering if these supplemental materials were going to be updated to Version 5.1 as the main rulebook was and how beneficial are they to the overall experience and where can I get them cheapest ;)

Thank you for all your help and I appreciate all responses.

Since all the die rolls happen more or less simultaneously, turn order doesn't really matter as much as in DnD. Just go around the table.

Yes, that's how damage works. However, if the knight still succeeds his roll even though the enemy does better, he gets that extra 6 points of armor from his shield. Also, if there are multiple knights going against the wyrm at once, its weapon skill is split up as well; if there are 3 knights, it doesn't get 3 attacks at its full skill of 15, but three attacks at skill 5, or one at skill 15 and two at skill 0, or something. (It has that tail lash thing too, but whatever).

Ok. That clears up a lot of my confusion. Thanks.
