In Table 6-2 there's an"Unburdened" item with a +5 modifier. What's that mean exactly? Is a person wearing chainmail "burdened"? I've searched the document and can't find another instance of that word in the book.
Thanks,
T.

In general, unburdened means not wearing armor. All the stats (movement rate, weapon skills etc) are calculated assuming the knight is in full armor. So a knight in mail is burdened.
However, there are other ways of being burdened that are really just GM common sense. If you are wearing no armor but carrying a huge pack for some reason or have a distressed damosel on one arm, you're burdened.

With KAP 5, this has been stricken from the rules with great prejudice. If it's still in there, it will be errata'd out at some point.
