Assuming a Natural Population Growth failed (BoM pg 29). How many consecutive Income results of 'Meager' or above would qualify for another check?

According to p. 38 of BOTM 2e: "A manor must have had five years in a row without having a Final Income result that is worse than Meager." The phrasing on p. 29 of BOTM 1e is slightly different, but gives the same answer.

My BotM is 1st Ed and page 38 does not mention this roll. Would you please quote it for me.
