I just want to see if I have this correct - since I have made the decision to give a very light touch to Economics (see my other post) with the option of delving deeper later.
Under the Winter Phase Synopis - Step 4 Check Economic Circumstances from the Great Pendragon Campaign.
Before the Rolls
Let's assume that there is no cures on the manor; the peasants are happy and there is no pestilence nor has the land been raided.
My Knight PC's wife has a STEWARDSHIP of 15 and there is a happy Brownie in residence (how could I resist)
1. I roll for Bad Weather and get a 14
2. Using the Double D20 rules I roll and get an 11 - so a SUCESS on the Harvest Resolution Table.
3. I roll the wife's Stewardship roll against a 17 (15 modified by +2 due to the happy Brownie (where does this Brownie come from - I hope there are rules later in the GPC that I have not gotten to yet)
4. Results:
CRITICAL - when cross referenced with the Bad Weather Result of SUCCESS = Rich (So does that mean the Manor generates 9L to 12L that year - a "profit" of 3L to 6L after the 6L upkeep?
SUCCESS - when cross referenced witht the Bad Weather Result of SUCCESS = Normal ( so 6L and no more money or less money)
FAILURE - A POOR Result - the manor genrates 3-5L that year and the knight looks a bit shabby and worse for wear
FUMBLE - IMPOVERSHED - things are bad - bearly enough money to survive and the squire leaves (possibly taking the Brownie with him...)
Did I get this right? If so let me know - if not could one of you more experienced players point out where I went wrong.
Thanks for all your help
Todd
