;) I have recently purchased The Battle of Battle and The Book of Knights and I am wondering what are the main topics of the books?

Book of Battle (BoB) is a Battle system, much more detailed than the default in the core book and very rewarding once you've got a good handle on it. Be warned however, it has a tough learning curve and you should be prepared to devote an entire session to resolving a full-dress battle using the system.

Book of Armies (BoA) is a partner to BoB, providing army tables for a variety of potential opponents (this fleshes out the couple of sample army tables listed towards the back of BoB). It's interesting for flavour, but isn't really of much direct use if you don't have BoB.

I'm assuming the Book of Knights thing was a typo - but if not it was a stripped down ruleset (a 'players handbook' if you will) originally put out by Green Knight publishing towards the end of the 4th edition (it might even have been the last thing done for 4th). As such it has been superceded by 5th edition publications, although like most Pendragon stuff there are no major mechanical discontinuities so it would still be useable with current rules (although much of it would be recapitulated in 5th edition books).

Luke
