Does anybody have an idea of Ulfius's stats? I can just use famous Knight, but I am interested in his notable traits and passions.

I dug out my old 1st edition character sheet and see that Ulfius has a whack of negative traits, like Vengeful, Suspicious, etc., but teh stats are for cicra 510 - Is this how Greg intended him in the GPC?

In my game (based on those negative stats from the old write ups - which are at home so I can't post them now) Ulfius is the leader of the 'old knights' faction at court - a product of the warlords era who's happy for Arthur to witter on about chivalry and other such nonsense while he and his cronies get on with the business of running the kingdom to their advantage now that they have a useful catspaw installed on the throne.

In this endeavour they are sadly disappointed when the young paragons of the Round Table set about trouncing their adherents whenever they assert their traditional perogatives, but Ulfius is too canny (or Arthur is sufficiently conciliatory to one of his earliest supporters) to get provoked into breaking with the King.

His sons are cut to the same measure but aren't as cautious, so within a couple of years of the old man dying they are in open revolt. This does not go well for them.

Regards
Luke

I am not filling out the entire character sheet for knights and lords in the BoWARLORDS, but FYI, here is the synopsis for Sir Ulfius, Duke of the Vale, in that book, for the year 485

Ulfius
Age/Stature: Prime
Quality: Notable
Type: Conniving, Selfish and Ambitious
Year Born: 452
Destiny
Sir Ulfius survives the great poisoning at St. Albans, maintains his position as a leader of the British throughout the Anarchy Period, and dies in bed during the Conquest Period when King Arthur is on the continent fighting the Romans.
Afterwards his eldest son gains his personal holdings, but falls out with the king by quarreling to try to obtain his father’s ducal titles and holdings.

Thanks Silburn and Greg (so awesome you address your gamers), the reason I ask is ive hardly used him in the Uther period, since he isnt in the NPC book for the GPC. I used Brastias far more. Now the Anarchy period is at hand. Ulfius will become much more important. I had no idea he was such a suave villain!

I don't feel compelled to make every named person a goody goody :)
