Suppose a knight marries the daughter of a baron (tenant-in-chief) and receives lands as a dowry. Who is the Liege Lord of these lands? Is it the baron? or perhaps Uther/Arthur since the lands were "given away"?

The most obvious example would be Lady Jenna's dowry in KAP5.0 with Upavon + 10 manors. If a knight managed to marry her, would he owe fealty to Rodderick/Robert or to the king?

the baron
it's called subinfeudation
the knight is a vavasour, "vassal of a vassal"

Interesting here is to remember that this is a way that a knight can get 2 Lords, if he marries a lady from another county.
This is great stuf when both lords go to war against eachother.
