Has anyone compiled a full list of all the manor investments that have been posted on the forums?

I seem to remember several clever ones, like a gaggle of geese that provides income, serves as an alarm, and, provides a check to prudent (I think that was the virtue). I can't seem to find a full list of them though by searching through the forums.

These list several new improvements such as the observatory, carpenter shop, brewery, inn, logging station, lumber mill etc. Where can I find rules for these?

In the little note sections. There is no separate rule document.

I maintain an updated version of this here;

Note: It has some unofficial entries and minor value tweaks.

I'm just unclear on how some of the new improvements, such as the observatory would work, or at least generate income. Can you, or anyone, provide a short explanation?

Ah, you want the background fluff...

An observatory provides income by drawing horoscopes, selling telescopes and star charts.
But has variable maintenance because you never know what these astronomers come up with
[little secret, 75% of my players were PhD astronomers, so of course an observatory had to provide income :) ]

Logging station, lumber mill etc, is just all about chopping up wood and selling it on.
Brewery is about brewing beer and wine.
Note that these two provide a chain of builds, allowing PC's to grow.
Inn should speak for itself.

I encourage creativity and new things for KAP
but I am compelled to comment on a few things here

Brewery is about brewing beer and wine.

Brewing in the middle ages was a village activity done by old women, esp. widows
noblility had brewers of their own
but breweries as such were much later
"Assize of bread and ale" was actually an important source of income for local courts to make money
as indeed it was the only source of income for thos poor old women

Inn should speak for itself.

Again, a very late development
people basically opened their homes to travelers
More like a B&B

Sure. Here it is. I've added a link to the bottom of the page as well.

I tend to add things as my campaign progresses. My desire to keep it on an A4 sheet means that a lot of the info is crammed in.

Thanks, they were requests of my players, hence I indulged them.

Thanks for the many replies on this.

I also seem to remember something about a training ground for the peasant levy that gave some sort of advantages. Does anyone have details?
