Exactly where Levocomagus was has puzzled me for a while, I've stumbled on the solution so I thought I would share it...

The "problem" for me was the spelling, Levcomagus is the Pendragonised form of Leucomagus, and Googling that will begin to turn things up. For example I found this:

It was a settlement just to the east of modern Andover, which interestingly enough had a hill fort (Bury Hill) about a mile of so away in the direction of Salisbury. In my campaign I can see the Steward of Levcomagus using that as the relationship beween him and Salisbury continues to deteriorate...

Maybe I should have phrased it more as what historical place, if any, Levocomagus is based upon. I do like to try and research the locations that are likely to pop up in a game and, where possible, go and see them.

I originally took the name from the 1-page Ordnance Survey map of Roman Britain that uses the V
