I'm currently running the Great Pendragon Campaign and reading through the great adventure collections, like Blood & Lust and The Spectre King. But many adventures must be played in the third or fourth phase, while King Arthur has established Chivalry and his Round Table.

I'm wondering, are there any plans for new adventures? I like the new Pendragon releases, but adventures are my favourite products. It would be nice to see adventures collections for every phase in the game :-]

I hope you can understand my writing, I'm just a simple german squire and reading is simpler than writing :-]

BTW: The Captcha is killing me... :D

I've played through the GPC three or four times (depending on how we count it) and never needed adventures for the early periods yet
thus my sense of urgency is small
OTOH, I have grown tired of the medieval background, and once I finish up the new series of books I am hoping to do some adventures
especially if someone will volunteer to do the follow up books for the Warlord and Uther books in the works

Even the small vignettes like The Adventure of the Tent or The Questioned Heraldry were great roleplaying opportunities.

How would y'all feel about starting up a new forum here dedicated to adventure seeds (or more fully realized adventures, for that matter)? There's some of this buried in these here forums and it seems to me it would be nice to aggregate them and surface them to users.

I know everyone tires, but man! Greg, I never thought I'd hear that out of you! :)

Two points though:
I really meant "tired of working on the background"
One you see it, you will probably understand :D

Hi,

Froggies are lucky ! If you speak french (better than I speak english), look the Pendragon's Chronicles - Season 1, a sourcebook of seven adventures wich take place during Uther's period. http://www.editions-icare.com/index.php/nos-jeux-de-roles/les-chroniques-de-pendragon
The season 2 is already on going and concern the Anarchy's period.

Hmm...I wonder if it would be possible to have these properly translated to English and made available to the rest of us...

I don't know, it would be a good idea to ask the question to the french editor.

Ya I hear you all the back ground stuff for just setting up your realm as a believable living place during Arthur's period and beyond is a lot of work, especially if your filling the gaps for four Earl dom's

as far as writing adventure books for Pendragon would love too share my original's one day in print.

I've won a german one-page-adventure contest (http://www.system-matters.de/2013/03/10/die-schlafende-schone/) with my Pendragon scenario called "The Sleeping Beauty". I'm working on a translation with some help. Here a small summary:

The Sleeping Beauty
Far to the north of Camelot, where the River Thames flows through the Campacorentin Forest, lies an enchanted castle, overgrown with roses. There rests, in the tallest tower on a white bed, a beautiful princess in dreamless sleep. Many knights have already searched for the sleeping beauty, but have not returned victorious. It is said that only the one who loves the sleeping beauty sincere, may awaken her from their slumber with a kiss. Many years have passed since the last of the knights went out to see the castle and the tale has been almost forgotten.

Summary
The adventure takes a single knight or a group through the Enchanted Forest Campacorentin and bring them finally to the castle of the Sleeping Beauty Annice. There Annice emerges as a bloodsucking vampire and tries to kill the knights. Only a pious knight can take the curse of the rose lady and give her eternal peace. Should he still truly love her, he could break the curse, but a minion of the goddess Juno herself must be defeated!

Classic fairy tale with a vampire twist? What's not to love? Can't WAIT to see it!

I think that is a good idea, Taliesin. I don't know how much I'd be able to contribute, as a lot of my 'home-brew' adventures are very much linked to the histories of the PKs, and tend to be more gritty than the more fairy-taleish adventures that are the norm. I could try to think of something, though.

More generally, if one has all the Pendragon books, there are a lot of adventures to be gleaned from them. Savage Mountains has already entertained us with the Bulith (Builth?) War, and I am thinking of mining it for a couple of adventures more. We have tried the Adventure of the Circlet of Gold a few times, but it tends to take a pretty strong character(s) to get through all the challenges: so far none of our PKs has managed it, so the quest is uncompleted. We did the Treacherous Pict adventure from Beyond the Wall earlier, and that kept everyone busy for a few sessions, too.
