What's your favorite adventure in the Great Pendragon Campaign, and why? What about outside the GPC? There's a lot of published and fan-made material out there.

It's difficult to say.

I'm Lucky, My GM is a genius, and, I suspect, uses the Scripted adventures as ingrdients in the greater stew of the GPC rather than, "tonight we are playing the Adventure of 'X' ".

Some of my favourite recurring NPCs have been;

the Knight of the Griffon, who after we rescued a damosel from his tower,

has twice returned to visit the halls of the Woodfords,
https://sites.google.com/site/pendragoncampaign/494

entwining his story with that of the Flatulent Beast,
(https://sites.google.com/site/pendragoncampaign/487)

for a most moving conclusion to the Beast's tale.

Sir Badon the Dwarf,

And Saint Briant, (Father Briant as was) who converted Wessex to the cross,

in addition to his many subsequent miracles.

I have no idea which if any of these chaps are Canon, and of so how far off the script they have gone.
(and to be honest, no real desire to know)

The 1st edition adventure - "The Adventure of the Circle of Gold" is my favorite. I have run at least a dozen parties through it over the years. No one has even come close to completing it, but each party has had a unique reaction to it, and had a unique experience. It has it all - magic, chivalry, monsters, secrets, and style.

Thanks, Makofan! For those of you who don't know, The Adventure of the Circle of Gold may be found in the Tales of Mystic Tournaments book. I'll definitely check that out. I'm only seven years into the campaign. It would be nice to have a list of the the published adventures, by chronological order, so a GM could scan ahead in the GPC in weave in some of these pieces. I actually started such a list awhile back. Maybe I'll post it in a Google doc or something so people could help maintain it...

The Adventure of the White Horse, Pendagon 4 ed. Mysterious, short, lots of trait test, some skills.

Best Wine in the World is great to.

Is "Best Wine" in the 4th Ed. as well?

I made a poll to my players and their favorites from the GPC (through 536) were:

Forest Sauvage (multiple sessions concerning one's father, other's son and third's wife)
High Adventure in the Wastelands (an epic of epic proportions)
The Theft of Excalibur (wherein the players had very active and mortal roles)

I also liked The Grey Knight book, which had clear structure and helpful notes in the margins. Ready-to-run!

My two favorite fan-written adventures:

- The Adventure of the Five Ladies, archived at http://www.rpgarchive.com/index.php?page=adv1&advid=285 . My PK was deeply torn between helping the crone (who seemed to him to need help the most) and helping/wooing the Lady Warrior.

- An adventure from this forum (my search-fu fails at the moment), wherein the knights meet a fellow called The Chiurgeon and his lady companion. After they rescue the young Arthur from a Dire Peril, the Chiurgeon and his companion enter a blue privy-sized box, which disappears with an odd noise .... :-)

I just picked up several adventures from drive-thru RPG's GM's Day sale and have enjoyed reading The Castle of Tears from Blood and Lust.

As for GPC adventures, The Knight of Tusks, The Knight of the Wolf, Sir Gorboduc the Fiend, and The Trail of Chivalry are my personal favorites with The Trail of Chivalry being my absolute favourite for its meat-grinder nature for less-than-stellar knights. Out of Adventure, HO!

Less experience with GPC, but Sword Lake has been their favourite so far

My two most favorite KAP Adventures has always been sense i started playing in 1989 The Adventure of the The Tournament of Dreams By Les Brooks and Sam Shirley and of course who could for get The Adventure of The Circle of Gold By Greg Stafford. both were updated and republished for fourth edition rules in Tales of Mystic Tournaments and any time I start to run a new campagin I use these especially for new players who have never played the game.
