I am back from a 2 week hiatus in beautiful tropical Belize.
How good a time was it?
It was good enough that I do not mind the sunburn and mosquito bites!
Good stuff included: visiting my friend of 50 years, the scorpion and her babies, the croc behind my friend's house, and the threat of a fer de lance on the jungle trail
Ordinary stuff: snorkeling, great fish, sunshine, warmth, Mayan ruins, jungle tours with nostalgic astonishingly well informed local guides, and Italian gelato on a scorching day

Not so fun: returning to find my entire inbox wiped out by a server problem. If you have written to me in the last two weeks, please do so again!
