Dwarf's in Pendragon?

Recently I have added 2 new player knights who wanted their characters to have dwarf's as squires my question is this how would one stat a dwarf these day's the rules I have are from first and all though they are mentioned in several adventures their not stated any ideas on how to re stat them?

I decided that knights as opposed to Lords (who don't get glory for doing what's expected of them) gain 50 glory to training a boy as a mounted warrior and another 50 glory if that boy is Knighted. A dwarf squire would not give them that glory. A dwarf would have a much harder time carrying lances and would be much slower in bringing them, meaning they should take a penalty to their squire rolls of at least -2. With their size being three, they're already punished in their damage and hit points meaning they're be: knocked down; knocked out; badly wounded and mortally wounded often. These are bad enough, unfortunately they're not the only disadvantages.

Characters that small will have a much harder time controlling their mounts and will need custom made saddles so -2 to horsemanship with it capping out at 13 rather than 15. They will also have a hard time managing Lances, so -2 to that and the lance also capping out at 13. Their sword and other weapons would be harder to use, so -2 with no capping. all these drawbacks are likely to make them more cowardly, but that might not apply to a dwarf wanting to be a squire, so I would not penalize it.

On the plus side these characters would also have a much easier time hiding and dodging, so +5 for these and that hiding might be to suddenly spring out and attack. They're likely to be both held in contempt and pitied, so +3 to armor.

All that said one of my most favorite characters from "The Game of Thrones" was this man - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QML3RNXDuB4 And I agree with him that Intrigue/ "true seeing" is the heart of fighting.

You could use the Goblin stats from GPC (or The Boy King, but I like them from GPC better) and tweak them a bit.

Given the Dwarf Knights that have appeared so far in the GPC I'm playing in, it appears to me that dwarves are gentlemen of Faerie, and thus exceptional, rather than natural people afflicted with dwarfism.

If your PC's acquire a Dwarf squire in the course of play, good for them, but I think you'd be best to avoid just allowing them to have dwarf squires with no effort. It'd be a great quest though, Going to King Auberon's court to offer places as squires to likely dwarf lads...
