I bought it for my Dad, who really enjoyed it (he is one of those historical Arthur buffs). I have not yet read it, which I should shortly remedy I think!

It seems to be an “Arthur in the North” book. I must admit, though, the “About the Author” description makes all my alarm bells ring. Hmm … all the interlibrary loan databases accessible to me come up with zero, else I’d have taken a look.

I'm cautious about anything which claims to have found the "real Camelot"; Camelot only turns up in the stories about Arthur after he'd already undergone the metamorphosis from Dark Age war-leader to mythical medieval king. I think that Camelot (and also the Round Table and the Sword in the Stone) had as much to do with the "real" Arthur dux bellorum (if there was one) as "To be or not to be" and Yorick's skull had to do with the Amleth of Danish legend.
