Sir Pramalot,

I love the map you've created here.

I was wondering if you had the original without the campaign-specific shading? Hoping I can get a copy of it, thanks!

Unfortunately, that map doesn't extend beyond Salisbury. The one I posted goes much further in terms of boundaries.

The Book of the Estate, which is finally being wrapped up, features no less than TEN maps of individual PK estates! In fact, they've been the main cause of the delay in getting the book out. We put a hella lot more research and design into these maps than we ever imagined we would and so we're a couple of months behind our original schedule. But we hope you all agree that the wait will be worth it. There's also a new Logres map displaying all the optional pre-Saxon county and Roman city names. We've also provided a key of all the new place names so you can easily continue to use the "modern" names if you wish — understanding that people with campaigns in progress may not want to switch. Really cool stuff! We're now targeting the end of this month for publication and we're on track for that. Soon!

Sounds great - can't wait to see it. Is a hard copy option going to be available still? Hope so.

Yes, we are planning casebound hardcover books, in addition to the standard PDF and paperback Print on Demand versions. In fact, it's the single largest task left in the production cycle — designing and producing the cover art for all three variations.

Best,

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I don't visit the forums as much as I used to these days.

To those that have asked, I'm afraid to say I don't have the main Salisbury Map without the texture effects. This map was one of the very first things I put together for my camapign and in my haste I flattened the PSD file without giving it much thought. I do have some earlier iterations without the effects but they are very early and don't contain nearly as much information/corrections etc.

I've been planning to update it for a very long time, but with so much else going on in my campaign I hardly ever have the time.

EDIT - Map link reposted in seperate thread.

Aha, sorry, my bad!

I posted my reply before actually looking at the link you'd sent. That extended map is the map I use for my meta game. I added all the manors outside of Salisbury because I needed a map that extended beyond its borders. They are "correct" in so far as they are in the right place as can best be determined given that the map itself is a little off.

I've also added in more detail that is not present in the original - purely to suit my own taste, but it is based of local information. For example, the Coombe Wood area just south west of the large Silchester text, Fosbury Hill, the fens near Pewsey, and the extension of the Savernake Forest to cover Pewsey etc,. There are also additional tracks added, especially in Marlborough. The Marlborough area is still WIP, you can see there are still several "bugs" overlaid text etc,.

I do indeed have this map without any of the shading; the shading merely indicates the territory currently controlled by player factions.

I'll put it up within the next 24 hrs.

Much obliged!! I look forward to reading about the other game from that link.

And, by the way, just an awesome site all around.
