Here is my base, unshaded, expanded map of Salisbury.

Please be aware this is a living map. It is a work in progress that is added to and improved when time allows and as required by my campaign. It has numerous issues - text overlays, poor text positioning etc - that I do intend to correct but in the meantime I hope it will serve you as well as it currently serves me.

First some notes;
I have added extra detail to suit my campaign, based on local information; the addition of Fosbury and Combe Wood, the fens just east of Pewsey, new roads and paths, more accurate position of Wandborough & Swindon and a southern extension of Savernake Forest, in addition to various font changes and other minor tweaks.

The new manors in Marlborough are positioned as best as possible given the inaccuracies of the original map (I have partially corrected some parts of it, but a full overhaul is not something I am close to finishing). As things evolve I will probably move some manors slightly to better fit the topography, eg move the line of manors north of the White Horse hills south a little so they lie on the road. All the manors are correct as of Domesday.

Dr J.M. "Thijs" Krijger takes credit for doing the original Salisbury manors, again within the constraints of the original map inaccuracies. The copyright notice is as requested by Greg.

To see how the map evolved look HERE (http://www.kap5.net/Other/Expanded-Salisbury-WIP/29459912_LdR2Xz#!i=2516413701&k=JkWt7gK), from the orignal B&W to the expanded map at the bottom.

For the expanded map alone look HERE (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5461678/Expanded%20Salisbury%20copy.jpg).

For just the Salisbury map without Marlborough go HERE (http://www.kap5.net/Travel/Maps/7988120_HBKgfX) or Thijs's site HERE (http://gspendragon.wordpress.com/2010/02/13/book-of-maps/).

Please note: The main map is reduced to 70% and compressed (high quality jpegs). I will upload the full size, uncompressed image once complete. Also I dont have the map without the texture - I flattened the PSD file many years ago without giving it much thought, obviously to my regret later. This is something I might correct, but TBH the time required could be better spent elsewhere.

They are very cool maps and I would say. Keep up the excellent work.
