This was online for a number of years but has disappeared. Anyone have an .exe file or able to republish it online? I played with it a while back for non-Pendragon stuff but now would like to use it FOR Pendragon.

And, of course, now it's gone.

There's a lineage generator thing in the Domesday program.

That's Mystyldyne's program, right? That's the one that's now offline. Is there another location for it?

Poo. That's annoying.

I've got it installed but I don't think I have the setup files anymore.

I don't know this tool but i'm interested by it.

For the moment i use an online tool, which works pretty fine :

I found another really great free program. My Family Tree. Very well done for being free.

PM sent on setup files.

Does it generate the tables at random?

The Domesday Program does. Much props to Raven for sending the files, they're very cool.

My Family Tree is a genealogical program so it is not configured for medieval/Pendragon characters. It does not generate random lineages. But it's visually appealing and easy to play with. And Free!

But you want all...
I want to click a button to generate a family for a player character, including names, relations and 'hooks' (a missing uncle, an unwanted marriage, affairs, killed by rival etc etc). And just as in the Pendragon book a full history of your grandfather/father.
And all of that with nice graphic output that can be printed so it can be used at the table.
That would be the ultimate family generator...

You and me both. I was just thinking the same thing yesterday while playing with Domesday! ;) Have you ever noticed how what's available only makes you hungry for what's not? "Can you just combine X with Y?"

Also a Heraldry design program, a simple one even, built into it.

And sheets.

And random hooks or personality generation...

;D

Heraldry is often very personal.. also often your family will have variations on the family theme. So I can live without heraldry (and just let the player create those himself).
Sheets are not needed for family..
Random hooks would be great. Both in family members and family history. (I had this great plotline about a players whose father died in some adventure, according random roll, and he absolutely wanted to finish it. That's the stuff of legends I play Pendragon for).
Personality generation, I consider hooks.. (my vengeful uncle again).
The Family history in the book does not require a choice, so it would be so much easier/faster if you could just press a button and hand a player his history instead of rolling 2 hours for it (being RL older = less time). That would be very easy to implement, right?

Does anyone already have a list of plot hooks for either family members of family history?

Taliesin posted an excellent armorial bearings/coat armour/ coat of arms creation program here
http://www.karlwilcox.com/drawshield/random/ , but one must know heraldry to use it.

For those who don't just pull real armorial bearings out of this

I found a few really neat heraldry generators online. I'll post them later since they're on my desktop computer.
