The table showing Household Bonus Pay on p. 30 is in error (in the Book of the Estate version 1.0).
Download the corrected table here. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/k46oc58gf6xzv6f/Estate-Household-Bonus-Pay.pdf)
Sorry for the inconvenience. We will correct the problem in v1.1.
Thanks,
T.

There is typo in the fourth line of the explanatory text above the table:
'additional' should read 'addition'
Hopefully you can fix it at the same time as you put the revised table in for v1.1.
Also the explanatory text itself has changed a bit from the beta draft I saw at the end of last year. I can see what the revised text is trying to achieve, but I think it has lost some clarity in the process. The worked example in sentences 4-5 of the paragraph appears on first read through to be contrasting how you handle the two categories of office holder - by implication this places the esquire in the 'commoner' role as outlined in the first three sentences of the paragraph, with the Knight taklng the 'noble' role. However on second read through it appears that they are both being treated per the 'nobles' case of the rule (a bonus of £0.5 on top of their status pay of, respectively, £1 and £4) - this matches up to my understanding of Esquires as the lowest rung of the noble ladder, but it means the example doesn't actually illustrate the full rule that it is trying to explain.

Ah, I see. How 'bout this:
This shows an officer holder’s normal status pay. For commoners, this is their entire annual pay. For nobles, the amount shown is considered bonus pay on top of their normal compensation — an esquire who is also the Major Domo gets his normal £ 1 plus the bonus of £ ½, a knight in the same position earns £ 4 ½, and so on. These costs are included in the economics described in this book. This table shows what additional income a player knight would get for holding a position. Note that some positions are rewarded more in larger households, as befits the servants of a lord.
