The sheet looks wonderful. For some reason though it won't auto-add my Modest into the calculations for Chivalry. So I might be doing something wrong.

Thanks, Foxworthy. We'll check it out. Is that the only error with the Chivalry calculation that you're seeing?

We'll post an update as soon as we recover from the holidays and can verify the issue.

That's all I noticed for that, but the Statistics won't let me go higher then 18, even on Con with a Cymric. Which makes it hard to represent some of my players knights that pump glory into size.

Ah, no worries--we'll dig into these and fix or otherwise address them quickly. Thanks for reporting them, and your patience till we get back to the studio!

Is there any way the sheets could be savable? It says the fields will be cleared if it's saved. If I'm doing it wrong, please let me know. Otherwise, I have to recreate the sheets every time and that seems... not terribly efficient.

Thanks, higgipedia. The sheets should be savable, for sure. We didn't see that particular message during our testing, which was considerable. Are you using Adobe Reader or Acrobat? We can't support 3rd-party PDF readers...

I moved the bug reports from the original BoR forum to here. The Nocturnal elves are back in the workshop and will be posting responses and/or fixes ASAP. Thanks for your patience while we work through these issues.

Maybe I am wrong, but there is probably no option for saving fillable PDFs in Adobe Reader. I use the free version of the PDF XChange Viewer and everything works perfectly.

Aha. I am using reader. When I head back to my computer in NY tomorrow, I'll check out this XChange Viewer. Thanks, guys!!!

My goal is to fix the "bug" that unauthorizes saving data in Adobe Reader tomorrow. Apparently, it's just a control I need to turn on when I generate the PDF. Used to not be that way, fellas. Sorry for the inconvenience. I've just been held up waiting for the official word on how to handle the max Attributes issue. I think I may have my answer there too. We'll get this patched up this week. Thanks for your patience as we navigate the holiday season.

Foxworthy, I'm happy to report we were able to fix the bug where the Chivalry bonus was leaving out the Modest score. It will be posted in the v1.1 update. Which will be posted as soon as I can figure out the best fix for the other issue you reported — the limit of 18 on Attributes. This is proving to be a little bit trickier, since the restrictions change based on your culture. If worse comes to worse, we'll just remove the constraints altogether. But I'm trying to find a smarter way to do it. Thanks for your patience!

We've also fixed the bug that prohibited users of Adobe Reader from saving data. Silly little thing. It will also be included in the 1.1 update, which will happen as soon as we settle on a solution for the Max Attribute issue.

Thanks!

Because I thought I was losing my mind, I went and checked and yes — Mac users can save data in Adobe Reader without having to prep the file in a special way. I've always been able to save data in Reader — have been doing it for years — so I was scratching my head a little when people were reporting not being able to save in Reader. Turns out I have save the file as an "Extended PDF" to extend this basic functionality to Windows users. P'ft...

Sorry about that, my Knights of Redmond. I didn't even know to ask the question. So a fix for this is definitely on the way. If we can't fix this other big quickly (the Max Attributes issue) we'll repost with the restrictions of ATTs lifted until we can find a better way.

Thanks again, for reporting the issues and for your patience over the holidays.

The Book of Records, Vol. 1: Knights v1.1 is available now on DriveThru RPG. We fixed or addressed all of the issues reported to-date, namely:

1.) Modest Trait now included in Chivalry bonus calculation.

2.) Windows users should now be able to save data in Adobe Reader.

3.) Regarding the ATT limits. We were not able to make the min/max values "smart" when multiple cultures are in play — though we will continue to work on this. Until we can deliver a better solution, we've simply removed the min/max constraints. So at least now you can use the sheet with your SIZ 22 Cymric Death Machine.
