Hi need some help with what to do for my groups two Lady players during 518 and Battle of Badon

There are an awful lot of leaders at Badon. Many won't be coming back. I could totally see that as an opportunity for some of the less brave men who stayed behind to make some kind of power play and it would be up to the ladies to stop him.

Kind of like the Dominic West/Lena Headey dynamic in 300.

Ahh nice idea Thx i can also see the senario played out before me! one of the ladys is pagan and would not be a stranger take to arms to defend her loved Christian Knight if it came to that.

There are several examples of even christian ladies taking up arms to defend their holdings. So it is always an option that they need to protect the camp against enemies.

Other option is that they are needed to heal the slain. Could call for passion checks if their lord or husband is severely wounded. It could include a search for rare herbs.

Or perhaps a squire arrives at the camp, tells them "Sir Whatever is dieing on the battle field, in yonder direction", waves his hand liberally - and then collapses from wounds or flees!

Now the Ladies must make a dramatic battlefield rescue!

I love this. This could seriously affect the outcome of the Battle.

Perhaps knights around them choose to defend the ladies in the middle of the battle abandoning thier positions, and other knights come to fight.

Other suggestions:
* Handle men gone mad on the battlefield (could make for excellent roleplay, trying to get the man to stop killing his kin)
* Defend the wounded from stray saxons (someone bursts into the tent to attack the wounded!)
* Don armor and join the lines, everyone fights at Badon
* A banner has fallen, the knight holding it is to weak! (If the banner falls, the line will break. What do the ladies do?)
* An imporant leaders squire dies, someone needs to support him. All men are fighting in the lines.

Could be great roleplaying fun as the ladys know what has to be done but one of them has a Mecriful at 18 , very intresting

This ocurred on the 3rd day of Batun. Lady Wilcott and a wounded squire is draging a seriyosly wounded Sir Durrinton back from the lines when they are being interupted by Anglish cavalry.
In frustration of where she is how exausted she is and how tired she is , the lady picks up a Javelin and shouts to the Anglish : In the name of Arthur the high king off with you all , be gone you knaves ( Trusts to her lojalty lord) and crits it) Throws the javelin at them ad fell one of them in mid charge (Criting her skill roll as well and ending up rolling maximum of 6 es on the dice) .
