Something tells me , that in the economics section knight maintenance also includes horse maintenance (despite horses having their own section).

Pg 37 under 'Basic Cost' it notes that personnel who have horses have the horse expenses included in their upkeep.

I suppose the horse costs are:

£3.0 - £1.25 = £1.75 for the knight's horses

£1.0 - £0.75 = £0.25 for the squire's rouncy

Or

£1.25 for a charger
£0.25 for a rouncy
£0.25 for a rouncy
£0.25 for a sumpter

£2.0 for all the knight's horses

It is not obviously spelled out. Just a guess.
