Had a really good session of Pendragon last night. Year 521 and theft of Excalibur! I decided that Accolon's Loyalty Arthur won out over his Love Morgana and so she had to kill him and find someone to dupe into fighting Arthur.

Player knights were successfully tricked and one of them championed Sir Outlake with a gifted magical sword. They didn't recognize Arthur until the king's false sword was broken and the king was on the ground nearly dead. They even partook in the pursuit of Morgana after she had stolen the scabbard. It all just clicked beautifully, with the exception of Sir Accolon's absence, I might as well have been reading out of Malory. In fact I did read out of Malory for some of the bits of dialogue.

Not sure what I would have done if Arthur had been killed...
