Hi! So I finally got this book and while working through the examples I found this error (or maybe I just don't get it).

p.106:

Step 2:
The result of the Pull Back maneuver is a win - which would mean that the player unit would move back a rank according to the rules.
This does not happen here. Instead the zone is still counted as 5 (+10 intensity) instead of 4 (+5 intensity) which would result in a total unit intensity of 2.

Edit: I made a mistake here, but the logic is still faulty. In the round before the PK unit charges into rank 6, which gives +10 - and with the won pull back maneuver they would move back a rank into the killing zone, where a +10 still applies. However, in the explanation it says that the the battle zone hasn't changed, which I interpret as the PK unit still being in rank 6 instead of 5, where they should be.
So a correction would be:

[...] The Battle Zone Bonus remains unchanged [...]

Step 3:
Sir Elad rolls a success against the unit intensity. The unit intensity is 7 (which is already wrong, see above) in this example and it rolls an 11, which is treated as a success for the unit intensity instead of a win for Sir Elad!
This gets even more confusing, as the text states that the player unit has to fight two units again - which would mean that the unit intensity scored a critical. Which it didn't.

A correction would be:

Sir Elad succeeds with a Battle roll of 8, but the Saxon Intensity rolls a 7, which is a critical success yet again!
