From Lord Stafford himself, it should be 96. (http://nocturnal-media.com/forum/index.php?topic=1437.0)

I think you posted before finishing the sentence. :)
But guessing that you mean 96, this is because it has been felt that Chivalric bonus is too easy to attain. And to be honest, it is. It is possible to have it with a starting character. Is 96 too harsh then? It very well could be, but if the assumption is NOT that every PK is Chivalric but it is something to strive for, then it becomes more understandable. The downside is that Chivalric Pagan knights pretty much disappear from the realm of possibility, but given that most of the PK knights can't be in that august company either, it is probably not a huge deal. (Yes, my thinking has changed regarding that. Ask me again another time, and i might switch my opinion again! :P)
So:
80+: Rules in KAP 5.1 and earlier.
96+: Greg's current musings and potentially the future of the game in subsequent editions.
And I see Taliesin just linked the discussion thread on that, too. :)

Thanks! I did post before finishing my thoughts; this site is blocked from work, and my phone is behaving weird whenever I try to write on it.
I appreciate the clarification!
