Here are a couple of questions:

The scenarios at the end of the Uther period include a Border Challenge and a Riding Through Enemy Lands. I assume these relate to places on the border of Logres with other kingdoms, am I correct? The GPC isn't very clear on who these enemies are so I assume they are other kingdoms outside Logres such as the Kingdom of Cornwall or Estregales, or is it possible that some local (Salisbury) knight can also be considered an enemy?

There is a sidebar on page 14 of the GCP titled Can I Just Conquer Someplace? What would these places be? Manors outside Logres?

Any hostile lord. Saxons. Even neutral lord's land would have a border challenge and if the PKs wish to sneak around without explaining their business, it can easily become Riding Through Enemy Lands...

During Uther's reign, I doubt that the individual knights will get much of a chance to conquer anything without the King's approval. Although I suspect he would green light any attempt to reconquer lands held by the Saxons.

During the Anarchy, even other Cymric Lords are fair targets, more or less. Maybe even in the same County. Depends a bit who is in charge, locally.

Both scenarios are more common during the Anarchy phase, but during Uther it is mostly when others do not know you. It can end in violence, but does not need to.

Both can also be used when travelling through Levcomagus. The steward there and Earl Roderick have a strained relation and as such you could want to go stealthily through their lands.
There are more borders between lords that are less clear.

You can also switch the roles. Let the PK be the ones chasing after the unknown knights.
