Where do the PK sleep (and their wives) when they visit Earl Roderick's court? Or King Uther's for that matter?

The great hall i assume

Correct, for Roderick
For Uther, I'd say so too
Uther, however, doesn't have a great hall of his own. He has a batch of them, in his castles
Realistically, historically, the king's men would probably fill the hall, the nearby abbeys, and the lodgings of all the merchants and other rich people in the area. So visiting knights would probably be staying in a stable and be happy they got such a good spot!
But in my game, they stay in the hall.
A really important person visiting the king would probably get some space in the solar or something, or maybe a small room in a tower for him and his men.
