Now that Tentacles Omega is over, do any of the lucky ones who got to head over to Germany care to report back for us? Checking out their website, it looks as if there was plenty of Pendragon fun to be had, especialy with the Battle of Camlann: http://twitpic.com/6cfx2

I would off love to off gone, Cthulhu and Pendragon under the same roof.

Dosen't get much better than that in the world of RPG!!!

Tentacles was great. Unfortunately also the last one. Some of the things that Meriel and myself did:

- played in Pendragon battle of Camlann (~22 players) in which I was beaten to the enemy camp by both a Frenchman (Jean) and a jar of Marmite (Meriel)!
- did appallingly badly at Sandy Petersen's Horror Quiz.
- went to lots of seminars, including secrets of Glorantha and the history of Call of Cthulhu
- drank far too much German beer.
- en route and on return managed to visit Verdun (Douaumont fort and ossuary), Trier (Porta Nigra, the Dom and the Constantine Basilica) and Ypres/Ieper (Menin Gate and the Last Post tribute).

Next year, looking forward to Continuum...

cheers,

Mark

Well, it was great! I did my first Pendragon freeform in which I played a fairy.
And I got to be game master at the battle of Camlann (in which my players were a French elk, a jar of Marmite and a pesky little purple playing piece ;-)).
And GM'ed my usual Pendragon game, although that kind of fell flat this year. But the venue is always a treat, and the people are wonderful. Hopefully the people that want to do a continuum on tentacles get it together.
Unfortunately, because I was so busy with all the other Pendragon stuff, I did not get the change to play in any of EvilGaz's Pendragon scenarios....

Hey, I take offence easily you know! I was the purple piece, Meriel was the marmite (guaranteed to strike fear into the enemy).
Thank you for the GMing, we enjoyed it a lot.

Shame we didn't get to play in that, but the sign-ups just filled up so quickly that we didn't get into any games...
