I noticed that we decided to change the names of glory levels (or actually keep the old levels), but did not update the captions (p156, top table)

should be :

If Knight's Glory is Notable: +1 to all statistics (HP +2, Above average knight's damage +1d6)
If Knight's Glory is Renowned: +2 to all statistics (HP +4, Small and quick knight's and Above average knight's damage +1d6)
If Knight's Glory is Famous: +3 to all statistics (damage +1d6, HP +6)

Step 2, at the end of the box. It can't be in Step 1, since the Glory is rolled in Step 2. So what Thijs is suggesting is that you replace:
"Renowned knights add +1 to Base Skill to find Primary Weapon Skill (Step 4).
Famous knights add +1d3 to Base Skill to find Primary Weapon Skill, and +1 to Kit roll (Step 8)."
with:
"Renowned knights add +1 to Base Skill rolled.
Famous knights add +1d3 to Base Skill rolled, and +1 to Kit roll (Step 8)."

Then we will have to add the primary skill calculation later in Step 4, like this:
Replace:
"Secondary weapon skill is Primary Weapon Skill (Step 2) minus 1d3-1.
Default: Sword and Lance at the Primary Weapon Skill level (Steps 2)."
with:
"Primary weapon skill is equal to Base Skill, and Secondary is Base skill minus 1d3-1.
Default: Sword and Lance at Base Skill level."

Also, there is no need for the final result in Step 4 to be "6+". We don't have modifiers (in this Early Phase Generator) so it is just "6".
