How much should a Knight minimally pay for wedding celebrations? what would be normal? And what would be exeptional?
I know that it would vary according to status, I am most curious about lower level knights household and one manor vassal knights.

According to Book of the Manor (1st ed, p 33):

Wedding (paid by the family of the bride):
- Knight's daughter: £5
- Banneret's daughter: £8
- Count's daughter: £15
- Duke'se daughter: £30

Dowry
- Vassal's oldest daughter: £7-10
- Vassal's other daughter or household knight's daughter: £1-6

Don't know if any of the later books have new figures on this issue.

Not that I recall off the top of my head...

In our campaign, I have also allowed £2 for the younger daughters, especially if they are marrying mere household knights. But for the eldest daughter or if marrying a Vassal Knight, £5 is a good rule of thumb.

Don't forget that this is one of the universal aids for the Eldest Daughter's Wedding, and the peasants will pay (at least some).
