Hi guys,

Do you know if there are plans to release a map with all the updates brought for in the Book of the Warlord/Estate?

Counties names have changed, cities names have changed....The Pendragon landscape is now quite different to what it was back in the early 5/5.1 era?

Wouldn't that be a cool occasion to publish something fancy, a bit like what the French publisher Icare has done ? (if you haven't seen the map, its pretty awesome as it is printed out on fabric rather than paper).

No plans yet, although we all have a powerful desire for this.

Speaking of new maps, one of my pet peeves about the KAP 5.1 map is that it shows Camelot 30 years before it became Camelot, and Anglia, Essex and Portchester before they get taken over by Angles/Saxons. Well, at least Essex was established soon after the start of the game and Portchester can have other origins for the name than the Chieftain Port, but still.

I agree, the problem with the generational campaign that is the GPC is that it's finally not one map we would need, but rather two or more (pre-Arthur/Arthurian times), but then I'd say it becomes financially difficult right?

Not so sure that it would be so difficult. Taliesin said before something about a master map on this Forum, and the impression I got was that the information was layered so that he could show, for example, just the castles or just the towns. I could be wrong with this since I am writing from memory. In any case, changing like county labels would not be so hard.

It would be very nice to have at least two big maps:
- At the start of the Uther's reign
- After the Battle of Badon

All that is doable, and more, my friends. It's more a function of time, than money.

Best,

MUCH SNIPPAGE
what the French publisher Icare has done ? (if you haven't seen the map, its pretty awesome as it is printed out on fabric rather than paper).
Maps being Maps, if the names have not been translated into French then I would be quite interested in seeing (and perhaps even purchasing) such a map.

Does anyone know what their website is?

Don't think you can order the map on its own unfortunately, but here is the link to the kickstarter it was featured in:

http://fr.ulule.com/ecran-pendragon/

T'was part of the offer for the GM screen backing project as a bonus. Scroll down and you will see the map in all its glory, I own one and it is really gorgeous.

Maybe contact the publisher directly?

Here's their website: http://www.editions-icare.com/
and you can contact them at contact@editions-icare.com

PS: By the way, here's the screen's artwork, really cool if you ask me:

I agree
KAP 6 will be set in 530, though
