*WARNING SPOILERS!!*
Finally, my own homemade maps of the area I wanted are ready. What I've done is moved the adventure location for "The Horned Boar" from the north to the south and changed the Angles for Saxons, and also changed the era from Arthur to Uther.
Much of the details and regional place names/topographic names I invented. I am sorry if this is totally wrong. The players will not notice it anyway. Their Pendragon knowledge is not high enough (and neither are mine). The Westgate manor is now Southgate. I've also beefed up the Saxon chief a little. Other than that, the adventure is much as it was.

Thank you. That map is great, but more as an overlooking view of the whole southern area, not really describing any smaller and more detailed area on the Silchester and Sussex border. If you look closely, the area I've worked on is where the word "Hampshire" is on the map you sent me. There's a kind of a "fork" at the end of the Itchen river there. No detalied decription whatsoever is seen of this area, more than that the river ends in that fork and there's lots of green open spaces around it. So, that's the reason I had to invent a lot.

Yes I agree I tired finding something closer and that was the best I could find other than the saxon map in the Saxons book but you did a good job I hope your game goes well!

I always appreciate help and really kind of you to try to find a more suitable map anyway. Thanks for the appreciation. The next session is on sunday. It's a battle in the ending part of the adventure. I am not very well acquainted with the battle rules. The older ones are a little simpler I presume, but I can easily be wrong.

I would not get too hung up about the Battle rules. The battle at the end of the Horned Boar is barely above a skirmish, so you can easily handwave most of that, especially since the set up has Colius mouse-trapping the invaders between his army and his stronghold. You can go straight to Boss Fight even, if you so desire, or alternatively use the Prudent / Reckless to see what happens, with the first battle roll to see if the invaders manage to shift their army around in time.
When I ran the Horned Boar for my group (not so long ago), I did exactly that. Granted, I managed to roll a Critical Battle for Colius and a failure to Wilfrith, so it was quite one-sided battle. Still, since the PKs are the heros, trust me, let them smack the main evil-doers around, which is so much more rewarding than fighting against some random peasants. They will love it, at least if they suffered some humiliations earlier in the adventure. Mine did. :)

and your welcome were all supposed to help each other out here!
Also I agree with Morien not to get to hung up with the battle system also don't forget on pg 126 of saxons are new battle rules you could use these rules as well for the Angle peoples who are listed as enemies also chapter 7 has raids and encounters you could use as well that's on pg 108 also if u have access to beyond the wall on pg 120 there is a SIMPLIFIED MODULAR BATTLE SYSTEM that I use a lot in my games it kinda speeds up combat a bit when using armies but it also works well for skirmishers as well! I hope this helps! 8) I have read through the horned beor though I have never ran it for my group as most of my players are from either cambria or logras though I might use it for my lindsey campaign I am running!

Thanks for the input Morien! This is much needed insights for me. I have gone about it this way;
The map over the manor is divided in three main "thrusts" the Saxons are planning to attack it. Two from above (55 men each) of which Etherem leads one and a big frontal one with 90 men including Wilfrith. Beomart is dead. Although I am running this adventure with four players with squire characters lead by one player character knight, they actually managed to best Beomart and his (5) riders. I downscaled the amount of men he had with him in that first encounter to 5 instead of 8. They had their hands full anyway and one player squire almost died. Now they are headed inland to Southgate with Colius daughter.
I'm planning for Colius giving the squires a temporary loan of chain armor and better steeds, for rescuing his daughter. But only at the end battle, to be handed right back afterwards. If they survive they will have a hearty welcome back home in Sarum and a true shoe-in for knighting later on. None of the players have Roman characters though, which means they will have small chances to read the inscription at the old villa. But the player knight atleast has a chance in spite of him being Cymric. The main reason for being at the villa is of course another one. Here, certain spears is needed, maybe Colius can loan them that too.
It is now sunday and I await the players. We begin at 14:00 hours. Wish me luck and many thanks again for the ideas Morien.

Yes, it's true we're all here to help but not everyone does (including myself), so it's very much appreciated. Aha, so there's a simplified battle system in that book? Interesting. I'll have a look. I have almost every book/supplement ever printed for Pendragon, except the newest stuff. Thanks.
Yep, this adventure is quite good. I heartily recommend it, in spite of it being rather "railroady".
