Hi all,

I've lurked for a while but thought I'd use the chance to introduce myself: Sir Virent, I've played Pendragon (mostly 4th) for a few years towards the end of the last century.

While I personally dislike overtly watermarked pdfs a lot they seem the only chance to get the new edition for a reasonable price here in Europe.

So I decided to ignore my aversion and get the pdfs, just to check them out - as they are now on offer as part of the "Gladiator: Quest for the Rudis, arena combat for 1-4 players" Kickstarter (which ends in three days or so). I'll be getting everything from the newest edition except the "Book of the Warlord", which is not included there. And I can skip the "Book of Knights & Ladies" as I got that pdf a while back. (It is the only watermarked role-playing pdf I own presently.)

The 5th edition books cost 5 to 10 dollars, but all the older edition supplements are also included for 2 dollars each. Now, I have most of the 4th and 3rd edition books and will get those pdfs simply as a form of digital backup in case of a fire. However, I don't know the even older supplements.

So I'd like to check with the experts here: Is there a special pearl amongst the first or second edition books I should include? If yes, why?

Thanks & cheers
Sir Virent
