Anyone knows when Roderick and Ellen got married? (or what did you choose in your settings?)

Also, when was Jenna born? She is noted as "not yet being of marriageable age" in 485. I guess that means she is younger than 15 (the "youngest" age in Book of Entourage).

Considering that Ellen is born in 467, so she could have at the earliest married Roderick in 482. If Jenna is born the same year, she would be 3 years old in 485. This means she can be married at the earliest in 497 (in the beginning of Anarchy).

I am thinking of bringing the wedding of Roderick and Ellen to 485 (part of the first session and a reason for more knights being knighted to protect the lady). This would mean Ellen is 18 and Roderick is 35 when wed in 485. Jenna would have to be born the same year. This could leave the speculations of Jennas future husband a part of the yearly courts all up until anarchy, when she comes of age. Makes sense?

Sounds fair enough. It explains why everyone in GPC seems intent on marrying Ellen (who as a Dowager Countess would have no right to the lands) rather than Jenna (who would be the sole heiress if Robert happens to die). Also, remember that Robert doesn't get born until 492. That is seven years of waiting for a male heir, whilst Roderick is getting older and fighting in wars, with Jenna his only child.

It also gives you the chance to highlight the feud starting with Levcomagus (Intrigue rolls to find out the behind the scenes maneuvering that ends up with Roderick getting to marry Ellen, rather than Blains)?

The knighting of the PKs, as a default, have nothing to do with the wedding, since they are of age and ready to inherit their manors from their dead fathers. However, since Ellen is bringing in her inheritance/dowry lands to the marriage, it would be excuse enough to sign up some new household knights, too.
