I'm thinking about marrying Gawaine to the Loathly Lady as in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wedding_of_Sir_Gawain_and_Dame_Ragnelle

I could not find any other accounts of him being married to any other woman. Where would you place this wedding in KAP? There is one Loathly Lady in 539, so if it's the same as that one it has to happen after that. If it's another woman all together, it could take place at any time. Somewhere in Romance?

Or is there another wife to Gawain in KAP that I missed?

And a follow up question:

Do you know if his brothers ever get married?

* Supposedly Agravain marries a certain Florée (or Laurel) at a Camelot tournament. When could this be?

* Supposedly Gaheris and Gareth marries two sisters Lynette and Lionesse. When would this be?

off the top of my head, with reservations after looking it up

Yes, Romance Period
maybe not in KP
I'll look this up,but Gawaine seems to have been unlucky in love, with several wives dying

In one of he later periods

I am pretty sure there is a reference to this in GPC
but I'll look for it if no one else jumps in
Morien?

According to The King Arthur Companion:

Gawaine had "three sons, Sir Gingaling, Sir Florence, and Sir Lovel, these two were begotten upon Sir Brandile's sister".

Among numerous ladies whose names are coupled with that of Gawane are Floree, who may be identical with Sir Brandile's sister, and Dame Ragbell, his favorite wife abd the mother of his sin Guingalian (surely identical with Gingalin) according to The Wedding of Sir Gawaine and Dame Ragnell, which mentions that Gawaine was often married (and, presumably, widowed).

Wives and paramours: Floree, Sir Brandile's sister (Floree and Sir Brandile's sister are probably the same), Ragnell, Helain de Taningue's sister, Hellawes, Helaes. Lore de Branlant, the King of Norgels' Daughter, the Lady of Roestoc?, the Lady of Beloe

Gareth is mentioned to be married in the gossip of 552, but surely he has married much before that. The whole Beaumains -saga is missing from GPC. Gaheris' marriage is not mentioned at all.

In this thread: http://nocturnal-media.com/forum/index.php?topic=2456.msg18881#msg18881
I was trying to nail down the ages of the Orkneys based on Mallory: "Gareth himself comes to court as a 'youth' (Beaumains) after the Roman War (the event is totally missing in GPC), so he cannot be much older than Mordred." (the event here is Gareth coming to court, rather than the Roman War, that was phrased a bit unclearly.).

Greg actually comments on the omission of the Beaumains adventure in this thread: http://nocturnal-media.com/forum/index.php?topic=12.0
the rationale being that it might work very well as a scenario for a PK or a group of PKs.

And I knew I had tracked down Gareth before! See this post: http://nocturnal-media.com/forum/index.php?topic=1942.msg15667#msg156670

"Lancashire
c. 532-565 Ruler: Sir Gareth (presumably married to lady Liones)"

So the year of marriage would be 532. I haven't found Gaheris, but making him marry the other sister a year or two later would seem reasonable.

I wish I had added a reference there, though... It is not in Perilous Forest, where Duke Danger is still alive (his heir is Lyonors, his eldest daughter, and Lynette is the loathly lady accompanying Gareth). It is not in GPC, where Gareth actually dies already in 563.

OK, I found this one, in Pendragon Campaign, First edition:
"Rowse, Castle de la - castle of a duke,
who was Arthur’s enemy until an encounter
with Sir Gareth (532) (Malory VII, 31-32)."

Pendragon Campaign, 1st Edition, p. 48, lists an event: "532 - Adventure of Gareth Beaumains". Sir Gareth is killed in 563, as in GPC, so I doubt this was my original source, though. Now it will continue to bother me.

EDIT:
And it would help if I would give myself the benefit of the doubt and actually read all of my earlier posting: "Quickly looking through the list of Counties and Lords in Greg's page:". So that is the reference for the 532 - 565 date. 532 seems solid, 565 should clearly be 563. Although I think this list no longer appears on Greg's page. At least I couldn't find it in a quick look and I vaguely recall Greg saying that there were errors in that and he took it down whilst starting to work on BotW, or something like that. I think it is now replaced by the Barons of Logres extract from BotW.
