Dear all,

I've made a map of all hundreds in the domesday book which are located within the borders of Rydychan county (see attached picture), and I'm now trying to connect the real hundred names to the new pendragon names.

The names of hundreds in Rydychan mentioned in BoE, BoW, and BoU are Alefort, Bearhome, Bentgrass, Bluefort, Smallage Field, Studfold, Plowmansfort, Woodtown and Yoke Hill.
I know that Slotisford is now "Crossbar Ford", because that's where Rydychan castle is located, and I know that Bullingdon is now "Heathertown", because that's where Oxenford is.

Is there already an existing list of the other matching names? Or would you advise me to I simply connect them at random?

Just for the record
I have decided to not use created names for all the places in KAP for the exact reason you have stated: it is too difficult to match up the names to a known map
I will continue to use some of the names when a [place becomes a famous Arthurian site.
For instance, Castle Stafford become the Castle of Terribal after the slaughter of the 11 kings there.

This is because real places are almost never named in the literature
Understandable since they were mostly created in France and Brittainy, so the Castle of Joy becomes a "real" place, and so on

My apologies to everyone who feels left in the lurch by this decision
It was not easy for me, and I've got the unfinished 312 page manuscript to prove it
