What would be the borders of Logres in 460?

I'm having trouble figuring out what was part of Logres before Aurelius' and Uther's conquests.

As far as I know:
- Deduct Aurelius' (actually Gorlois') conquests: Ascalon, Tintagel
- Deduct Uther's conquests: Bedegraine, Summerland/Somerset
- Add areas inhabited by Saxons: Sussex/Regnenses is still Cymric and Kent is a loyal vassal of Vortigern's.

I'm working on a map.

The green is Logres in 460, based on your help. Anything else missing that you happen to know of?

Glevum and Clarence ought to be a single unit, called Glevum

When is it split? (if ever)

Greg, are you thinking the Dukedom of Glevum, which gets split to Dukedoms of Glevum and Clarence in 494?

However, the COUNTIES of Glevum and Clarence exist since the introduction of the county system. So if we have counties instead of tribes, we will have Glevum and Clarence.

Ah, yes
That is correct

Man, that is one beautiful map! I wish I had half that talent. For the anarchy I really wanted a county map that included the whole island, much like yours.

Fantastic job!

Thank you! I still consider my self a learner.

By the way. Here is an updated version:

Still not completed, and I'm having issues with several parts (including Deira, Malahaut and Nohaut). Any feedback?

Gilmere,

I apologize for the delay in my response. Feedback you ask?

In the Book of Uther, Deira seems a bit smaller and farther north up the coast with Malahaut a bit bigger. Pg.110 has a map of Malahaut in 484.

Like others have stated, Eldol is Duke of Glevum, which is the counties of Glevum (west of the river) and Clarence (east). If the map is supposed to be all the counties, they will need to be split, but yes, one guy is in charge. I can't find any info if Eldol was Duke before the Night of the Long Knives, but with no one in charge to make him one, I'd bet he was already Duke when he went home to lick his wounds.

I'd add Gomeret to the NW of Cambria. It's where Vortigern will go into hiding in only a few years and where Pellinore will abesently "rule" later until it breaks up in civil war. There's also a map of Cambria on pg.83 of the GPC which is the best look I know we have of it in Pendragon.

Best map of the far north that I can make out was on pg.182 of the GPC.

Superb work, by the way. I love your map.
