To ease the dark feeling of anarchy I'm planning a bit of a light hearted adventure in a few years.

My thought is to create a "Scooby Doo" adventure. :)

Hit me with any creative ideas!

• A manor haunted by a ghost that turns out to be a dressed out lords son?
• A monster prawling the countryside turning out to be a rivaling lord trying to scare your peasants?
• A mysterious "death", turning out to be a hoax...

Help me fool my players!

Ghost pirates! Or I guess Ghost Danes!

Hehe! But why would the players not just kill them?

Almost all scooby doo ends with someone dressing out as a monster. Are the pirates dressed out?

They are Vikings/other pirates who dress up as ghosts to scare their targets more.

As for the players just killing them, yes. I assume it would play out like that Venture Bros episode where 'ghost pirates' tried that on Brock Samson.
