Going by the book, KAP 5.1, a Notable knight is worth a flat 100 Glory if he's defeated in real combat (not for love). The progression is. Average (50), Notable (100), Famous (150), Extraordinary (200). Is this based on anything other than a near progression from 50 to 200 for each "rank"? I've also read about the alternate systems where you calculate Glory by adding the combate skills used in combat by the loser knight + 1% of the loser's Glory, so a knight with 6000 Glory usíng Lance 16 and Sword 21 would be wroth 95 Glory. I get this last system. I just don't get the Awards used in the rulebook (50/100/150/200).

That is because the Glory awards in the rulebook are 4th edition Glory Awards, as far as I can tell. The newer system is what Greg is advicating now but alas, it wasn't corrected in tge Glory Appendix.

I wasn't able to find on a quick search his exact comments here on the forum, but I did find my own earlier thoughts on the matter, during which Greg gave some of his own input:

I standardize Glory rewards for bookkeeping reasons. I made a custom sheet with a spot for the PKs to just tick off each of the things they have earned. An ordianry knight is worth 50, 75 for notable, 100 for famous. Anything more than that hasn't come up yet but should fit that scheme.
