GREAT!
I'm also in for the "Morte d'Arthur" KS and I was thinking about adding a copy of printed Pendragon 5.2 as an add-on.
What is the quicker way to get it?
Waiting for the "Morte d'Arthur" backerkit (Whenever it will happen...) or adding is to this new KS??

Wow, entirely funded in 2.5 hours!
But don't quit! Let's get in there and keep it going!
It has also been selected as an official "Product We Love on Kickstarter" by the company itself

I am very seriously considering backing the project, could you perhaps include in the campaign section a rough idea of the book's extent? Will it be comparable to the scope only to the Core Rulebook, will it have campaign material like the GPC, will it have GM information like the book of Uther/Estate/Warlord?

Congrats on getting funded so fast! I'm considering it.

My understanding is that it is a comprehensive tome, covering the campaign as well as rules. It's apparently 700+ pages already and will be expanded by adding the scenarios!
The base level for a PDF is $15, which is extremely reasonable for that much content! Note the rules are tweaked from Pendragon 5.2, so not a complete reprint.
Someone with more detailed knowledge can add more, I only repeat what I've gathered.

Edit PS: The Kickstarter post lists the ToC: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nocturnalmedia/paladin-warriors-of-charlemagne/posts/1941388?ref=backer_project_update
PPS: Tom Clancy's massive tome, Red Storm Rising, is only 668 pages. This thing is huge! It will take more than a few days to digest....

I don't have any extra intel on it, but like Khanwulf said, 700+ pages means that even if they reproduced 5.2 in its entirety, there would still be 400+ pages left. $15 is the price of a pizza, gone in half an hour. I would rather have this thing to munch on for a few days, at least. Figuratively speaking, of course. :P
EDIT:
From the email to the Backers (and getting me to rub my hands together eagerly):
Question: "The book is huge! What else is in it?"
Answer: Yeah. It's pretty big. Here's a brief synopsis of what's included (this is subject to change but should remain very accurate - this is from the author and was already shared on the Nocturnal Media forums!)
1. Character Creation
2. The Past (a year-by-year account from 700 to 767, the history of your character's grand-father and father)
3. Personality and Passions
4. Reputation: Glory and Attitudes (Attitudes are like reversed passions, i.e. it shows how others feel about your character)
5. Skills
6. General Mechanics
7. Combat
8. Mass Combat
9. Magic (religious magic for players)
10. The Winter Phase
11. Ambitions and Ideals
12. Wealth and Treasure
13. Frankish Society
14. Frankland
15. The Future (a year-by-year account of Charlemagne's reign from 768 to 814)
16. NPCs
17. Foreign Cultures
18. Opponents and Creatures
19. Adventures (2 complete adventures and 18 short-forms)

I see that a print copy of KAP 5.2 is available as part of this. Any word on when those copies will ship? At the same time as the Paladin book, or sooner?

The Contents given in Morien's post are still valid, even if the order of chapters may have been slightly rearranged.
Thank you all for backing the project!
Cheers,
Ruben

The KickStarter is doing very well. Almost all initial stretch goals (8 adventures) have been unlocked!

I am unable to answer this question.
Sorry
But I would guess they would be sent together, since that saves a lot of money
but I do not know

AGH! This Kickstarter flew completely below my radar! Is it too late to hop on? It looks like the backerkits are only being sent now?

Don't worry von wildensee: I received an update yesterday, saying that the Backerkit is ready, but that something was not 100% OK, so they needed to delay it a few days.
Looks like you'll have the chance to hop on the Paladin bandwagon soon...

Hopefully that'll be the case!

I have a question....not sure if this is the right place. I've never backed a Kickstarter project before, but I backed the Kickstarter with $100 a few months ago and I THINK that means I'd get the Core Book and the Scenario (Adventure) Book as well. (I guess the PDFs too, but I don't really care about the PDFs).....am I understanding this correctly? Thanks in advance!

NOTE: I'm not in any way involved in the Kickstarter, but I'm a fellow backer. This is how I understand this Kickstarter works.
Yes, max_vale, you have pledged the right amount to receive both the Paladin corebook and the Adventures book. However, in order to receive the correct items, you'll have to choose the Adventure book as an add-on in the Backerkit (which will be opened shortly, from what I understand).
You have pledged at the 60 $ level, and this entitles you to the paper corebook, but the remaining 40 $ could be used to buy several add-ons: dice, the Pendragon book, and so on. So, when you get invited to Backerkit, you'll just indicate that the 40 $ are for the Adventure book, and you are set. However, note that you'll have to add a certain (until now undisclosed) amount for shipping charges.
PDF files of the books are included when you buy the physical copies. You may not care for them, but they give you the chance to read, enjoy and possibly play the books in advance, while you patiently wait for the paper copies to be printed and shipped to you...

Awesome; thanks mandrill; I really appreciate it! I also didn't realize that I'd receive the PDFs BEFORE the physical books....so yeah, that is cool. Thanks again!

Has this ended? Can I still join? I don't play RPG's regularly anymore, but I try to keep involved by supporting RPG projects. I'd like to be a backer for this if it's still open.
