Hi Gents,

When a unit attacks and enemy unit of archers, they make a single roll. Which represents them defending from the arrow and stricking the enemy.

Should they be entitled to the +5 for being mounted, yes it helps when striking the archers, but not blocking the arrow?

Difficult question since this is an unequal division.

I suggest that the knight get +5 for being mounted, but that the archer not have -5.

Actually..... I thought that if you fought archers thay got to go first ...always........ And If u succeed you got your shield to ARMOR, and then struck them immediately afterward. ? Wrong? I just seem to remember Archers going first in all cases.

I read it as a single roll.

Archer shoots (ignores being on foot -5)
You use relevant melee skill (+5 gor being mounted)

If you get partial you can use your shield for you and horse.
If you win you block arrow and strike archer.
