Hi

My group of players are reluctant to try new things, thus my attempts at getting af Pendragon campaign from the ground has not yet met much success.

I am therefore not eager to begin preparing the grand GPC.

I am currently considering running a small introduction campaign for Pendragon, and would like to hear if you know of a relatively ready-to-use mini campaign or other useful ressources, that I could use to impress my players with. The scope could be two 12 hour sessions or something like that.

Thanks

Jesper

If you go to the website RPGARCHIVES it has a hoard of adventures that people have made. The adventures are for dozens of different rpg systems, and you can find pendragon easily. There are around 30 or so scenarios there, and i think there are 2 different 3-part campaigns. One is the Talgarth campaign, and the other vhas to do with King Ryons and wales. Anyway. Good hunting and good luck.http://www.rpgarchive.com/ :-\

The Viking supplement (Land of Giants?) has something like a Beowulf campaign. Perhaps they prefer Vikings over Authorians?

You could just run the intro scenario in the book which goes through the rules and is a nice little adventure and mabe finish with the skirmish a allington.

That way they get to see what it's like to play the game and if they don't like anyone that they probably won't like the game.

I'd second Steve's advice here. I ran the intro adventure from the book with a set of new players and it worked really well. You get to try a bit of hunting, some combat, and a visit to Court, which reveals pretty much most of the system in small easy to handle chunks. More importantly, after playing it all of my players wanted to play again.
