I found this site, http://www.behindthename.com/usage.php, and it is a font of inspiration for names for characters in the post-Roman period in Britain.

I recommend:

Roman, Late Roman, or possibly Roman Mythology for those great-grandfathers or grandfathers and perhaps to be used as inspiration for derivative names.
Breton, Cornish, English, Welsh and Ancient Celtic for good solid Cymric names during the early years of the campaign.
Danish, Ancient Anglo-Saxon, or Ancient Germanic for those hated Saxon invaders.
Irish or Scottish perhaps for characters from the western side of the island (Estregales).
And of course all of the above for the later years during Arthur's reign due to the broad cultural influences of the Arthurian myth and the sheer enculturation that would occur from all of the influences invading Britain.

I'm sure you can find nuggets in other cultures. Enjoy! :)

Nice Finds.

I'd also recommend Biblical names for knights with religious bearings or backgrounds.
