Hi

In The Great Pendragon Campaign (GPC) page 44 after "Problem", it is stated that "treat each landing as if it were a single battle round with a random number of Combat Rounds". Having read the appendix on battles several times, I think I may have missed the part about each battle round having more than one Combat Round (except when engaging enemy leaders for example). Am I missing something? How should I determine the "random number of Combat Rounds". It seems to me it could get very messy with 4-5 battles each with multiple Combat Rounds...

Secondly, how many times can you invoke your passions (for example "Hate Saxons") during a battle? Once? Every round (if you dare)?

Thank you so much for citing source and page.

It should say:
"treat each landing as if it were a single battle with a random number of Combat Rounds".

Once.
It doesn't say so explicitly in KAP5, (but it does say so in the Book of Battle) that knights who are noted for such passion (16+) will ALWAYS use it the first time they see the Saxons, unless they successfully suppress it.
