Hi,
I've been playing Pendragon since 1992, when the first spanish edition was launched. I have brought every Pendragon book that reached the spanish coast. When Internet made all the pendragon knowledge avalaible to us, I began to understand that there were a lot of books that had never arrived to spanish stores. One of them is Noble's Book.
As I have read in the Book of Manors that we must multiply by 5 the castles cost, do I have to presume that I must do the same with Lordly Domains castle costs?
Wich book is the "canonical standard" in sieges, invasions, castle building and so, Noble's Book or Lordly Domains (I mean, wich book I should use)?
Thank you

Lordly Domains is basically an updated version of Nobles Book, to bring it in line with the economics in 3rd edition Pendragon and later. As far as castles, raids, etc., the rules and stats are basically the same. The main difference is in managing estates, and how estates get their money.
There are some problems using Nobles Book with 3rd edition or later, because it goes from the 1st edition assumption that each knight costs £2 to support, whereas Lordly Domains fits the 3rd+ edition cost of £6. If you were using Nobles Book and building estates with it, you'd need to make some changes (maybe just as simple as tripling the value of everything). Lordly Domains has the advantage that you can just use it as is.
However, if the main thing you want it for is castles, sieges, etc., they are both close to identical there (castle prices are the same in both books, despite the economics change), so get which ever one is easiest to get hold of.

You can see it in Book of the Manor.

I am working on some improvements (as always!) but there is no telling when they will ever see print (as always!).
