Hello,
I've read almost all the BoB (I stop at the page 52, Extended melee phase, for now), and I have some question, so, let's go :
First Charge Bonus, p16 : it's written "Knights with other melee weapons can charge, but get no charge bonus, nor use their horse damage, but have a +1d6 to their own damage, if successful", and, in The Charge synopsis, p26, it's written "Mounted w/ other weapon : +1d6 bonus to damage against foot..." : so, does the bonus damage apply against a mounted man ? Moreover, does this bonus applies also in a normal fight, because it's not written in the Base Book (and, with a Saxon knight with a two hand axe, it might be very powerful... more than a Charger charge...
Automatic actions, p20 : when battle intensity is higher than 25 (or lower than 15), one side is retreating : which maneuver do I have to apply for the NPC (Run Away ?, Withdraw ?). What could arrive for a Player unit that won't retreat when a Battle Intensity is higher than 25 (and so, all the NPC units move backward !) ?
The Ambush, p21 : the Battlefields Obstacles for Pict Uplands have disappeared ^_^
Table 10: Go after the Enemy, p31 : the Maneuver "Stop" isn't described on the following pages ? what do you mean by "Enemy Army Pulls Away" ?
the same table, p31 : how should the GM determine that the Enemy Army "pulls away", "withdraw", "retreat" or "is routing" ?
Extended melee phase, p52 : "The extended melee phase may be undertaken only after all the steps of a normal round are completed" and some lines below "Note that extended melee phases do not have an "End of the Round" phase", but this is the step 5 of a normal battle round.... so, what's right ?
Rescue a friend / 2. Unit Melee, p53 : "All members fight another phase of melee... This is a new wave that ..." : so, theese new opponents have full hit points ?
Ending extended Melee, p53 : "A unit may repeat the phase as long as the players wish". Does it means that the opponents are also from a new wave (with full hp) ?
Fight an Enemy leader, p54 : there's some words missing from the beginning of the second column.
I'll continue my readings tomorrow...
