View Full Version : Forum rules question: Linking to non-family friendly material

I've been trying to run the Great Pendragon Campaign for several sessions. I have recorded all of them with a voice recorder.
My original plan was just to jog my memory to write summaries of what happened, but once I started to write, I ended up transcribing everything the players said verbatim as in-character dialogue. The result is, to me, hilarious.

I'd like to share it. However, it is highly obscene and irreverent. Clearly it breaks the forum rules to post here, since it is very family un-friendly. But would it be OK to post a link to it, with a disclaimer?

No reply, which I interpret as a tactful "No." OK, no link.

If anyone is curious about reading the silly adventures of my gaming group, you can just google "Despotic Pendragon." Of course, as warned earlier, it is not family friendly or work safe.

The no reply is more likely because it was New year, and Ben (forum admin) hasn't had the chance to ask Greg (forum owner) if it's the sort of thing he wants to allow.

Personally, I'd see no problem with linking, as long there was a "warning: adult content" type message, but Ben and Greg are the people to ask. They may have missed this thread, so PMing one of them would get a direct answer.

I <3 Hill Giant.

The deal is made, and Chip remains with the bandit group. They will train him in return for one librum per year from Sir Peregrin.

“I don’t want any permanent damage to my Chip. If anything permanently happens to him, you guys will probably get raped by a hill giant. I mean, so on the one hand we have a librum, and on the other we have hill giant rape, so that’s pretty much you weigh the scales.”

“You don’t look like a hill giant” says the bandit leader.

“I do not. That’s a good point.” says Sir Peregrin. The bandits have not heard of Muktor. “I’m just letting you know. Hill giant rape will occur. I’m not the kind of guy who has to go around talking about hill giant rape. You guys don’t hear about that often I’m sure. It’s not like I’m just pulling it out of my ass. There will be a hill giant rape. You guys can believe it or not, but when you get penetrated by a hill giant you are going to believe it. Yeah.”

Sorry, yes - been distracted by life and Christmas etc. I'll drop Greg a line to inquire.

Sure, with a proper warning, it's fine.
We are all adults here.

OK, Thanks very much. I hope more people can enjoy it as much as Noir apparently did.

Since I posed the question, the storyline reached a very satisfying conclusion.

I will post the link in a separate thread to give it the proper introduction.
