For those playing along at home, I'm looking at the Book of Knights & Ladies, pg 109.
Greg and I just finished reading a very enjoyable book, E.A. Thompson's "The Huns" (part of Blackwell's The Peoples of Europe series). I jotted down all the Hun names mentioned in the book, none of which are mentioned under the Huns section of BKL. Ready? In no particular order:
Uldin
Donatus
Charato
Sunica
Onegesius
Octar (sometimes Uptar)
Balamber
Rua
Bleda
Mundiuch
Esla
Scotta
Emnetzur
Ultzindur
Hormidac
Dengizech
Berichus
Balach
Basich
Cursich
Ellac
Edeco
Eskam
Ernac
Oebarsius (umlaut over the 'e')
Hunoulphus
Chelchal
Mundo
And two women's names!
Boarex (umlaut over the 'a')
Hereca
Also some subject tribe names:
Aspar (Alan)
Goar (Alan)
Sangibanus (Alan)
Curidachus (Acatzin)
Rechiarius (Suevi)
Ardaric (Gepid)
Have at it, friends.
